KEEPING STORYTELLING IN STYLE
I currently am the Broadcast and Media Relations Assistant for the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, Double-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays. It's a position which has pushed me to grow in a number of ways, and not just as a broadcaster. I've utilized my graphic design, writing and interpersonal skills on a day-to-day basis while helping our front office and sales teams promote the team in a variety of ways.
IN COLLEGE...
I called over 150 games in four years of college, including Binghamton Men's Basketball's America East conference matchups against March Madness-quality opponents, three NCAA tournament soccer matches on ESPN+ and Syracuse football's undefeated road matchup with fifth-ranked Clemson. During my senior fall semester, I called 17 games in 15 weeks while juggling classes, multiple shows and my personal life. I've spent my summers around baseball since I was eight; I broadcast a total of 136 baseball games in the Cape Cod League, Northwoods League and for Team USA post-college.
WHO I AM...
When I'm not preparing for a game, I'm usually working on improving myself in other ways. I try to exercise in some way, shape or form five times a week; I fell in love with the weight room over my high school baseball career and it stuck throughout college. Pickup basketball is also one of my favorite hobbies, and I've caught the golf bug this summer. I got my love of food from my mom, and I pride myself as a budding amateur chef. My specialties are spicy turkey burgers, seared scallops and mint brownies. Throughout the last year, I've also gotten back to reading. Putting down the textbooks has finally led me to read for pleasure; I'm currently reading Fab Five by Mitch Albom, a recounting of the greatest group of freshmen to ever take the court.
